
This week we began our year long battle with Manuka and Harakeke for the Handle the Jandal Class Trophy. This is a competition between the 3 year 5/6 classes at Tinwald School. The winner of each challenge gets to set the next one. However, in the first week, the teachers have come up with a 3-in-1 challenge to start it off.
Challenge 1 was a parachute challenge. Each class had to control the parachute for 2 minutes while tennis balls rolled around on it. It was even trickier because we had to try and keep the yellow tennis balls on and knock the purple ones off.
Harakeke won this challenge, Manuka were second and we came third! There will be two more challenges in the first series, so we are not out of it yet! Check out some photos:
