On 16th December tinwald school had a prie giving assembly. A prize giving assembly is the last assembly of the year. You also get prizes. I got an award of neat work presentation. I was very suprised because I am not one of the neat people in Room 7.
On Monday Arrowsmith had an assembly called AAA time. My job was to control the PowerPoint. But it did not turn out good. The internet was not working. It was sooooooo embarrassed.
On Sunday my family went to Orana Park in Christchurch. We saw meerkats,otters and the monkeys. We also saw the feeding of the cheetahs. The cheetahs looked like big cats with spots. The cheetahs made a 'meow' noises. They were so adorable!
On saturday the 19th october my mum and my brother came home from India. My dad, my sister and I had left Ashburton at 8:17.I had missed mum so much that I was really excited to see her again.
On the 22nd of September my mum and my brother went to India. I had to stay home with my sister and my dad. So at home I made salt dough creations but Sunny my dog ate them all! Naughty Sunny!
On Friday, Arowsmith syndicate had a meeting. The meeting was all about our art groups. There were 7 choices that we could choose from. They were: mosaics, letter art, paper mache animal, clay, 3D canvas, recycled book art and abstract wire art. By Monday we had to decide what was our 1st choice, 2nd and 3rd choice. My 1st choice was clay, my 2nd was letter art and my 3rd was 3D canvas. I got into the letter art group!
These are some of the creations that I made out of salt dough. My favorite ones are the hot dog, the hamburger and the cat. I like the cat because It has funky stripes.The hot dog is bright and awesomely made. I like the hamburger too, because the bread is detailed because the top bread has the seeds. It looks yummy!
