Today I was able to use my auction voucher. It was to cook lunch at school with three friends. The three friends that I chose, were Teresa, Hannah and Abbie. We cooked Crumbed Chicken Burgers. They were really, really tasty! We then had leftovers so we made Mr Livingstone a burger. Hannah and Abbie got to make his. Hannah decided to put toppings on the top and bottom. When it came to flipping time talk about disasters! The toppings went everywhere! Finally Mr Livingstone got his burger. When he got it he made lots of funny faces. Thankyou Miss Sullivan who bought the ingredients and supervised us.
Today we read Roland Fish and were given an activity sheet to complete. This activity called Evaluating-Rating the story.
I would give this story a rating of five because it was really well written and I could imagine it in my head.
Setting- I could picture the setting for the story.I got a video clip of it happening in my head.
Characters-The characters are pretty easy to make come to life in your head. I however could not imagine these sort of characters in Tinwald School. I like how the author has told you heaps about the main characters without going over the top.
Language- Another thing that I like is that the author has used some interesting words to get the message across clearly. There were some words that I didn't know and have know learn't them.
Plot- I like that the problem is probably one that most people could relate to at least once. Though I wouldn't be so sure about the ending.
