Today we made Anzac biscuits with some of our class. A lot of kids were away at choir so we had the fun of making biscuits with Mrs Cameron. The first biscuits were really tasty but the second batch were missing a vital ingredient, so they were called "sugar free".
Here is the recipe for ANZAC biscuits with sugar!
125g flour 100g butter
150g sugar 1Tbsp golden syrup
1 cup of coconut 1/2 tsp bicarb soda
1 cup rolled oats 2Tbsp boiling water
Mix together flour, sugar, coconut and rolled oats. Melt butter and golden syrup. Dissolve Bicarb soda in the boiling water and add to the butter and golden syrup. Make a well in the centre of flour, stir in the liquid. Place in spoonfuls on greased trays . Bake 15-20 minutes at 180oC.
