Today I went out with my Dad and his partner Francie. We went out for lunch at Gibby's. I had 3 things: Gingerbread man, Bowl of hot chips and a Iced Chocolate. Francie and me convienced dad to have an ice chocolate, So all three of us had one each. Later after lunch we went to the new Westport Coaltown. We were looking at awesome souvenirs like: Coal sculptures, Keyrings, T - shirts, Hats, Props, Dolls. The locals got in free and the tourists had to pay! I got put as a local! We then headed through the glass door and into the nice sunny coaltown room where it shows what they did and how they did stuff in the Deniston mine. We watched half of this mine movie all about Deniston. There were all sorts of gear and what it was like back in those good old days. We then went through this dark sort of light room where you look at photos of the men and stories. When we were sitting down on a wooden seat watching a movie in that room I saw a massive photo of some men. Then I looked at all of them men and saw my Grandad, Bert standing having a coffee with his mates in that old photo. Then we exited the room. Next thing you know you were staring at two giagantic sculptures, Bigger than you!!!!! A coal trailer and something they used in the mine. We went down these stairs and there was a box full of coal I picked one piece up, It was big. We then looked at old, old rocks. Later we left and when we were back in the souvenirs, Dad brought me a dog in a basket coal scupture and knowing him he brought a kiwi hat for him. We left and went to Goods to you. Nothing there, Bed bath and beyond next I saw all sorts of One Direction stuff. Dad then brought me two pink, white and black pillow case's. He then brought a pot plant holder for a friend. Then we went home. My dads name is John. That was most my day.
